Coronavirus: Desarrollo concordiense elegido, por CAME como uno de los 10 emprendimientos más importantes del país
Se trata de Luis Alfredo Ragone quien fue seleccionado como uno de los 10 emprendimientos del país que se han reinventado en la pandemia. Fue finalista del premio “Emprendedor Solidario COVID-19” organizado por la Confederación Argentina de la Mediana Empresa.
En la edición del mes de Septiembre la revista Pymes de Clarín ha destacado en su tapa el proyecto del concordiense, quien ha desarrollado un Microscopio Digital de Fluorescencia, un desarrollo que se basa en la detección de presencia o ausencia de partículas fluorescentes en una determinada molécula, a través de la técnica de inmunofluorescencia, así lo indicó Alfredo Ragone a concordia1021sterero .
La idea surgió a partir del anuncio realizado por el Instituto Malbran, donde se informaba sobre el desarrollo de un kit nacional de test diagnóstico de anticuerpos de utilidad mediante la técnica de Inmunofluorescencia para la detección de anticuerpos específicos de SARS-CoV-2. Fue en ese momento que Ragone decidió investigar sobre microscopía de fluorescencia ya que sería una de las herramientas necesarias para el uso de estos kits.
El concordiense reconoce que dentro de muy poco tiempo tendremos los kits para la detección de antígeno – anticuerpo para covid -19 y que es necesario por primera vez, contar con este tipo de equipos de fabricación nacional en nuestro país.
Ragone afirma “tener este tipo de equipos de industria nacional, no solo permitirá complementar los kit que científicos Argentinos han desarrollado, sino además será útil para la detección de otros tipos de virus. Por otra parte tendrá un rol importante en un escenario post pandemia, ya que este instrumento permitirá trabajar en el área de educación e investigación en relación al nuevo coronavirus”.
Avances del proyecto
“Falta poco para terminarlo, hemos realizados algunas pruebas con otros tipos de virus y ha dado resultados positivos, hace falta mejorar algunos aspectos ópticos y ponerlo a punto para que pueda salir al mercado rápidamente”.
Seguimos trabajando todos los días para mejorar lo que falta, pero los insumos son costosos, por este motivo es importante contar con el apoyo de las autoridades para poder adquirir los insumos necesarios y lanzar este equipo al mercado rápidamente.
