Visita de lujo por el “Graciela Longhi” 2021
Enmarcado en el clásico torneo de pretemporada “Graciela Longhi”, se llevó a cabo el encuentro entre Quilmes High School de Buenos Aires y el Club Hípico Concordia, resultado vencedor el dueño de casa por amplio margen pero más allá del resultado deportivo, se destaca otra visita ilustre a la institución concordiense, como es el caso de la ex leona, Josefina Sruoga, medalla de plata en Londres 2012 y ganadora de Champions Trophy.
El plantel de primera división del Club Hípico Concordia venció a Quilmes High School con goles de Belén Girardo, Camila Marraccini, Francisca Rivadeneira (x2) y Guillermina Cuelho. Y por encima de cualquier análisis, fue una mañana de hockey muy distendida y disfrute total, con jugadoras del elenco visitante de gran talento pero por sobre todo buen sentido del humor y espíritu deportivo.
Tras el final del encuentro, se llevó a cabo la ceremonia de premiación, haciendo uso de la palabra primeramente el entrenador Carlos Obregón; se hizo entrega de la copa del torneo “Graciela Longhi” al equipo visitante a modo de obsequio y gratitud por la visita.
Mientras que también tuvo su reconocimiento su entrenadora y ex jugadora consagrada de la selección nacional, Josefina Sruoga, a la cual se le hizo entrega de una placa recordatoria de parte del plantel, cuerpo técnico y la subcomisión de hockey; en la misma se reflejaban las siguientes palabras: “a Josefina Sruoga, el Club Hípico Concordia agradece la visita, contando con su presencia en el marco de la realización del torneo Graciela Longhi, fundadora de nuestro hockey. Gracias Leona Olímpica por tu entrega y esfuerzo durante toda tu carrera deportiva. Hasta pronto… Club Hípico Concordia.”
Luego de recibir la placa conmemorativa acompañada de muchos aplausos, Sruoga se mostró agradecida y destacó la predisposición del entrenador de Hípico, Carlos Obregón. Y agregó “yo amo al hockey, juego al hockey desde que tengo uso de razón y me encanta que el país crezca tanto, y llegar a todos los lugares”. “Ir de un lado a otro, jugar, me parece que es buenísimo y lo único que haces es que nuestro deporte siga creciendo, que es lo que todos los que lo amamos aspiramos a eso”. “Muchas gracias por el hermoso recibimiento, la pasamos muy bien y esperamos vernos pronto.”
Los colores del verde en la piel
A Josefina Sruoga también se le obsequió una camiseta de Hípico, la cual se probó y le queda hermosa, ¿jugará en el verde alguna vez..? Soñar es gratis, así que porqué no soñar en grande. La jugadora olímpica en retribución a este gesto, dejo una camiseta de su actual club autografiada.

Star Entertainment’s Hong Kong investors have offered to take over the embattled casino
group’s new Queen’s Wharf complex in Brisbane under a plan that would significantly
ease the company’s financial woes.
The city is on a low-lying floodplain, with the risk
of flooding addressed by various state and local government regulations and plans.
The end of the Bjelke-Petersen era was followed by a period of civic and political
renewal in Brisbane, as reforms arising from the Fitzgerald Inquiry reshaped policing and governance in the city and supported the expansion of cultural
institutions, heritage conservation and urban redevelopment.
Vulnerability to natural hazards continued into the 1890s, when the Great Flood of 1893 inundated large areas of Brisbane, swept away the first Victoria Bridge and became one of the most significant
floods in the city’s history. Economic hardship in 1866 sparked the “Bread or Blood”
protests outside Government House, reflecting wider tensions during the financial

century development was repeatedly shaped by major natural disasters.
Civic development followed, including the construction of
Parliament House and the Treasury Building, expanding wharves and new rail connections linking the town to surrounding pastoral districts.
