El Gobierno renovó el programa Ahora 12 por otros seis meses para fomentar “al consumo y a la producción de bienes y servicios”, aunque eliminó la financiación en 30 cuotas. Tampoco fueron incluidos los celulares.
De esta forma, el plan de cuotas sin interés estará vigente hasta el 30 de junio de 2022 “siendo su plazo prorrogable”, según se expresa en la Resolución 34/2022 que se publicó en el Boletín Oficial.
La Secretaría de Comercio Interior mantuvo hasta el final de la semana las negociaciones con los bancos para la oficialización de su nueva versión. Las entidades que agrupan a los comercios aguardaban que el programa se renueve con un leve aumento de las las tasas vigentes y que se sumen rubros clave como los celulares, que habían quedado excluido en la última versión del programa. Sin embargo, los celulares volvieron a quedar afuera de los planes de cuotas, publicó Ámbito.
Los bancos pedían un aumento de 17,5 puntos porcentuales en la tasa de interés nominal anual (TNA) del programa, hasta 42,5%, pero finalmente se acordó una tasa nominal anual de 31% para los plazos de 3, 6 y 12 cuotas, y de 36% para 18 y 24 cuotas.
De acuerdo al monitoreo realizado desde el Ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo, se detectó “un incremento sostenido” del uso de la financiación en 24 cuotas fijas por parte de los consumidores. No obstante, “se evidenció una baja incidencia” en el uso de las 30 cuotas, con lo cual el Gobierno decidió eliminar esta modalidad de financiación, “con el fin de destinar los recursos del referido Programa AHORA 12, hacia nuevos beneficios y alcances, relevantes para fortalecer el consumo, fomentar la producción nacional y generar empleo”.
Si bien no se sumaron nuevos rubros, hubo una modificación en dos que tienen tope: anteojos y lentes de contacto pasan de $15.000 mil a 20.000; y motos, cuyo precio final no podrá ser superior a los $300 mil, cuando antes el límite $250 mil.
De acuerdo con los últimos datos del Ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo, Ahora 12 cerró 2021 con un récord histórico: el nivel de facturación y los volúmenes de operaciones crecieron sustancialmente en términos interanuales, un 85% y un 25% respectivamente. El nivel de facturación en todo 2021 por ventas de la mencionada iniciativa fue de 944 millones de pesos y la cantidad de operaciones fue de 71,5 millones.
