El costo de la canasta básica alimentaria subió 9% durante febrero, por lo que una familia tipo integrada por dos adultos y dos menores, necesitó percibir ingresos por $ 37.413 para adquirir la cantidad mínima de alimentos y no caer en la indigencia, informó hoy el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (Indec).
Por su parte, la canasta básica total (CBT) aumentó 6,6% durante febrero, por lo cual esa misma familia tipo requirió percibir ingresos por $ 83.807 para no caer debajo de la línea de la pobreza.
De esta forma, en el primer bimestre del año la canasta básica alimentaria acumula un incremento de 13,5%; mientras que la canasta básica total marca una suba de 10,1% en el mismo período.
En febrero, la inflación general registró un incremento de 4,7%. En ese mes la división Alimentos y bebidas no alcohólicas fue la de mayor aumento a nivel nacional, con un incremento de 7,5%, con lo que este rubro aportó más de 2 puntos porcentuales a la suba del Nivel general.
A esto se sumo el ítem Transporte, con un aumento de 4,9%, impulsado principalmente por la suba del 9% de los combustibles; y en tercer lugar se ubicó Equipamiento y mantenimiento del hogar, con el 4,4%.
En los últimos 12 meses, la canasta básica alimentaria acumuló un incremento de 52,2% y la canasta básica total 44,5%.
