Maciá: investigan la causa de la muerte de un niño de 8 años

El Poder Judicial investiga la causa de la muerte de un niño de 8 años de edad que falleció en Maciá, Departamento Tala, el fin de semana pasado. Según manifestaron desde la policía, había indicios que “no cerraban como una muerte natural”, ante lo cual se inició una causa de oficio que lleva adelante la fiscal Emilce Reynoso.

Esos indicios eran algunos síntomas como bajo peso, marcas en el cuerpo y posible deshidratación. Ante esto, se ordenó una autopsia, la cual se realizará en Concepción del Uruguay.

 

El nene ingresó al hospital Falucho de Maciá sin signos vitales. En el nosocomio los profesionales le realizaron maniobras de reanimación durante 10 minutos, sin resultados satisfactorios.

 

Una vez constatada la muerte del menor, “se dio aviso a fiscalía e institución policial y se iniciaron las tareas inherentes para establecer cuáles fueron las circunstancias” del deceso, comentó que el jefe Departamental de Policía, Delfor Pieri, en declaraciones a Radio Integral de Maciá.

 

“Determinamos que este chico tenía bastantes intervenciones dentro de lo que es la salud: intervenciones quirúrgicas y también poseía algunas patologías. Era un chiquito con ciertas limitaciones físicas. Pero las circunstancias en las cuales fallece dieron algunos motivos para derivar en una investigación más compleja: tenía algunas marcas, bajo peso, probablemente deshidratación, síntomas que no estaban dentro de un cuadro normal”, aseguró el jefe policial.

 

En ese sentido, la investigación busca “esclarecer bien cuáles fueron las circunstancias de muerte, ya que había indicios que no cerraban como una muerte natural”.

 

Consultado sobre si el menor se encontraba solo al momento de la muerte, apuntó: “Estaba con familiares, la madre habría salido de noche, y habría llegado a la mañana y en teoría en su ausencia quedó con algunos familiares. Posteriormente se dio cuenta que no tenía signos vitales”.

 

A partir de la investigación que se inició, “se realizó un peritaje más complejo por la parte médica y forense”, señaló Pieri y contó que “secuestraron elementos del hospital, como antecedentes médicos”.
