COVID: Inicia este miércoles la aplicación del refuerzo de la vacuna a menores de entre 5 y 11 años
Desde la coordinación del Plan Rector de Vacunación se informó que, como fuera acordado en el último Consejo Federal de Salud (Cofesa), se iniciará la vacunación con la primera dosis de refuerzo a la población de 5 a 11 años. En Entre Ríos esta estrategia comenzará a hacerse efectiva desde el 1° de junio, se informó desde el Ministerio de Salud.
Por la circular remitida este viernes desde la coordinación del Plan Rector de Vacunación a los directores, coordinadores departamentales, referentes del Plan Ampliado de Inmunizaciones y equipos de Vacunación, se establecen las recomendaciones para comenzar a colocar dosis de refuerzo al grupo de personas de 5 a 11 años.
Para recibir la aplicación deben haber pasado cuatro meses (120 días) después de completado el esquema primario.
Para la colocación de dosis de refuerzo a este grupo poblacional se emplearán vacunas de plataforma ARNm; en tal sentido, se recordó que las vacunas habilitadas son Pfizer (autorizada para las edades de 5 a 11 años) y Moderna (autorizada para la franja de 6 a 11 años).
La decisión de avanzar en la aplicación del primer refuerzo en esta población se tomó en consenso con las 24 jurisdicciones en el último Consejo Federal de Salud (Cofesa).
