Francolini resaltó el trabajo conjunto entre el Municipio y la Provincia en políticas de seguridad
El intendente Alfredo Francolini se refirió a las obras de ampliación de la Alcaidía de Concordia que se inauguran esta semana, y el trabajo articulado entre Municipio y Provincia para fortalecer el trabajo de la Policía en la ciudad de Concordia.
“El Municipio colabora con la Policía y tenemos un trabajo articulado permanente con el Ministerio de Gobierno y Justicia en este tema, porque si bien no es un área de competencia directa del gobierno local, es un tema que nos ocupa por el bien de todos los concordienses”, señaló el jefe comunal al ser consultado respecto a los recientes anuncios en política de seguridad para Concordia.
Francolini recordó que “así como durante la primera gestión como Intendente de Enrique Cresto se inició la construcción de la Comisaría Décima, que se realizó con recursos provinciales y municipales, esta semana se va a inaugurar la ampliación de la Alcaidía, que realizamos en una forma de trabajo similar, articulando recursos que dispuso el Ministerio de Gobierno y Justicia de Entre Ríos y recursos que dispuso la Municipalidad para poder concretar esta obra que beneficiará al trabajo policial y judicial”.
“En proyectos que se concretan como estos, se ve reflejada la importancia de trabajar en forma mancomunada junto a la Ministra de Gobierno Rosario Romero, el gobernador Gustavo Bordet y también con el gobierno nacional, porque a través de diferentes gestiones avanzamos en proyectos que para un solo estamento del Estado sería muy difícil”, sostuvo en declaraciones radiales.
En este sentido, indicó que “cuando surgió la necesidad de implementar el sistema 911 en Concordia, fue una necesidad que se planteó en el Consejo de Seguridad junto a representantes de diferentes sectores de la sociedad, y entonces se tomó la decisión de invertir recursos municipales para crear un Centro de Videovigilancia mientras se avanzaba en las gestiones para el proyecto del 911”.
Es así que “primero cuando Enrique Cresto estaba al frente de la Intendencia, y luego lo continuamos nosotros, se invirtió en cámaras, en la instalación, en el equipamiento informático, que le permitió a la Policía y a la Justicia intervenir en diferentes hechos”.
Si bien “la instalación y el mantenimiento fue realizado por personal municipal, el uso y control de las cámaras de videovigilancia de la ciudad, es potestad de la Policía y de la Justicia, porque esa es la forma correcta de trabajar”, recalcó.
Ante el próximo llamado a licitación para implementar el 911 en Concordia, Francolini resaltó que “significará un avance muy importante para el trabajo que realiza la Policía. En Concordia hay una base previa, todo el sistema del Centro de Videovigilancia que se va a integrar al 911 y eso va a representar un beneficio para los ciudadanos”.
A su vez, comentó que “hicimos las gestiones ante el Gobierno Nacional para incorporar cámaras que son lectoras de patentes, que se instalarán en los accesos a la ciudad. Esas gestiones están avanzadas. Cuando lleguen, también serán parte del 911”.
“En temas que son complejos, como por ejemplo mejorar los niveles de seguridad, es importante el trabajo articulado entre los distintos niveles de gobierno, y también con las instituciones intermedias, que son quienes a partir de su mirada aportan ideas que contribuyen al beneficio de todos”, concluyó el Presidente Municipal de Concordia.
