La municipalidad hará aportes mensuales a espacios culturales a cambio de contraprestaciones
El intendente Enrique Cresto y el secretario de Gestión Cultural de la Nación, Federico Prieto, rubricaron una serie de convenios con espacios de la ciudad a fin de fomentar, sostener y acompañar las políticas públicas de desarrollo cultural en la ciudad.
De la firma participaron la Cooperativa de Trabajadores del Arte, la Cultura y la Comunicación Vuelta Cambota (Espacio cultural La Cigarrera Cultural); el Faro Cultural – Pueblo Viejo; el Club del Tango y la Biblioteca Popular “Carlos Reyes Miggoni.
En todos los casos, se comprometieron a trabajar en conjunto con la Dirección de Cultura en la realización de actividades conjuntas y beneficios para la comunidad a cambio de aportes mensuales realizados con fondos municipales.

El funcionario nacional destacó que “la cultura beneficia a la ciudadanía en múltiples formas pero también tiene un fuerte impacto económico, en la gran cantidad de trabajadores que forman parte del rubro y en potenciar la actividad turística. Es un importante generador de empleo”, resaltó.
Por su parte, el director de Cultura de la Municipalidad, Gabriel Belderrain, puso énfasis en la importancia de la articulación con el gobierno nacional. “Esta firma renueva distintos convenios con los que venimos trabajando desde el año pasado, por impulso del Intendente y de Federico Prieto. En este caso, en beneficio de distintos espacios culturales con una nueva iniciativa para potenciar sus objetivos y generar nuevas actividades”, señaló.
Los distintos convenios prevén aportes mensuales a las entidades culturales, las cuales, a su vez, trabajarán con el Municipio en la realización de talleres, el otorgamiento de becas, préstamo del espacio, entradas gratuitas, difusión de eventos, acompañamiento a las políticas culturales, entre otros puntos que establece cada convenio en particular.
