El primer debate: Chicanas entre los vices y una candidata que no toma distancia de Videla
Faltan 31 días para las elecciones y los candidatos a vicepresidentes debatieron cara a cara en el programa A dos voces, en la previa del debate presidencial oficial que organiza la Cámara Nacional Electoral, fijado para el primero de octubre.
Agustín Rossi, de Unión por la Patria; Victoria Villarruel, de La Libertad Avanza; Luis Petri de Juntos por el Cambio; Florencio Randazzo, de Hacemos por Nuestro País, y Nicolás del Caño, del FIT estuvieron cerca de dos horas discutiendo sobre tres ejes temáticos: Economía inflación y trabajo; rol del Estado y conflictividad social y Políticas de seguridad, defensa y justicia.
La visitante de Videla
Villarruel se presentó como defensora de las víctimas de las organizaciones armadas a las que llama terroristas, cuestionó la ESI, a los investigadores del Conicet, reivindicó –como Luis Petri– la mano dura y fuera de cámara cuestionó que la ExEsma haya sido declarada patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO. Todas las veces que fue consultada por sus vínculos y las reuniones que tuvo con el dictador Jorge Videla, miraba para otro lado y no respondía. No pudo evitar hablar del tema cuando Rossi le preguntó en el último segmento de manera directa sobre sus reuniones con genocidas. Ella respondió: “Cuando me reuní fue porque estaba investigando para un libro y también me reuní con Montoneros que agredieron a las víctimas que represento hace 18 años. Lo que hice es algo plenamente legal, eso te permite conocer la historia”, le dijo.
Rossi le respondió:
— La verdad que no te creo nada –lanzó en uno de los tramos más picantes–. Yo creo que vos, en el fondo, reivindicás la dictadura. Nunca te escuché una crítica a la dictadura, nunca te escuché criticar la tortura, nunca te escuché criticar al robo de bebés. ¿Sabés a quién me hacía acordar? A Astiz. ¿Viste que Astiz se infiltró en las organizaciones de las Madres? Vos sos una infiltrada de la democracia”.
Ella retrucó como suele hacerlo: “Le he reclamado a la democracia que reconozca a las víctimas civiles y combatientes a los que no les reconocen los derechos humanos. Habría que reconocer a inocentes y asesinados en nombre de una revolución que nadie les pidió”, soltó como dijo en la Legislatura porteña en su estilo de negadora del negacionismo. Del Caño también le preguntó por las reuniones con Videla:
— ¿No quiere decir Villarruel qué le decía Videla? –inquirió– Es muy doloroso y debería explicar.
Del otro lado, la candidata, mutis por el foro.
Vivir del Estado
En otro tramo, Rossi buscó darle a la muletilla de la “casta”. Dijo que Villarruel “se queja del Estado”, pero su padre como militar cobró del Estado y su madre recibe una pensión. Ella se apuro a contestarle que su padre fue excombatiente de Malvinas y lo reivindicó, lejos de la postura sobre Malvinas de Milei y su candidata a canciller, Diana Mondino que reivindica el pensamiento de la exprimera ministra de Inglaterra, la “dama de hierro”, Margaret Tatcher. Y para aclarar los tantos, le tiró con la AFI.
En más de una oportunidad, Villarruel le dijo a Rossi que él fue titular de una AFI de “cartón” y que le sorprendía que “no tenga información sobre ella”, como si fuese normal que la agencia de inteligencia estatal maneje ese tipo de datos. También ella criticó que la vicepresidenta “no participa de la campaña”. Rossi la chicaneó: “Va a hablar el sábado, estás invitada”.
La obsesión del “kirchnerismo”
Petri fue otro de los que se cruzó con Villarruel. Durante el tercer tramo del debate, sobre la seguridad, cuestionó que ella como diputada no presentó ningún proyecto en en el área y mostró un papel frente a cámaras. Fue uno de los (pocos) golpes de efecto del candidato de JxC. Con una tijera en la mano, también obtuvo otra chicana: “El plan motosierra de Milei, como viene reculando en chancletas, terminó siendo una tijerita”, lanzó.
Pero más allá de eso, el candidato de Patricia Bullrich sólo repitió como un disco rallado críticas al “kirchnerismo”. “El kirchnerismo trabaja para que haya más inflación. Para terminar con la inflación hay que terminar con el kirchnerismo”, dijo. En otro momento, agregó: “Tenemos un plan capitalista. El kirchnerismo está quemando las naves con los argentinos adentro, están rifando el país. Lo de ayer (por la eliminación del impuesto a las ganancias) fue beneficiar a los jerarcas sindicales”. Rossi salió a contestarle: “No le ganaste a Cornejo, Petri, y querés ganarnos a nosotros…”, lanzó.
Dos caminos posibles
Entre uno y otro bloque, los candidatos tenían un minuto para hacer un encuadre. Rossi, aseveró en el arranque que “en estas elecciones hay dos caminos posibles. Nosotros proponemos un camino lleno de amor y orgullo por nuestra patria, en donde los derechos de trabajadores, de las mujeres y los derechos humanos sean nuestra guía”, defendió el proyecto para la eliminación del impuesto a las ganancias que se aprobó en Diputados y dijo: “Proponemos un camino de crecimiento económico con inclusión social y con más salario para los trabajadores”.
Sobre el eje de Trabajo, el Jefe de Gabinete y candidato dijo que Sergio Massa tomó “una decisión histórica, trascendente, que cambia el paradigma” y fue la eliminación del Impuesto a las Ganancias para todos los trabajadores en relación de dependencia. También destacó que esta semana el gobierno comenzó con la devolución del IVA de los productos de la canasta básica a trabajadores que ganen menos de 708 mil pesos y remarcó: “Hoy se conoció el indicador de desocupación: 6,2%, una de las más bajas de los últimos años”. Los sindicalistas que vinieron con él aplaudían en las gradas. Villarruel le dijo, usted vive en otra galaxia.
¿De qué vive Villarruel?
Las chicanas y dardos entre ambos continuaron y fueron uno de los platos fuertes del debate. Se eligieron como contrincantes. “Entre los cuatro (candidatos) reúnen 76 años viviendo de la política y del Estado”, disparó Villarruel en otro tramo y Rossi le respondió: “Nosotros hace tiempo estamos en la función pública, es verdad, pero no sabemos de qué vive ella. Nunca se supo y no queremos seguir averiguando. La primera vez que sacaste un cuil fue cuando fuiste diputada nacional. Nunca trabajaste. O trabajaste en negro y estás evadiendo”.
El detrás de escena
El primero en llegar fue Randazzo, compañero de fórmula de Juan Schiaretti. Con él también ingresó con el precandidato a diputado nacional, Diego Bossio, que no superó las PASO. Luego llegó Del Caño con Myriam Bregman, el único acompañado de su candidata a presidente.
Rossi llegó 20.30 junto a su esposa, María Raquel Pezzelato y sus asesores, Facundo Olivera, Ezequiel María y Nicolás Tereschuk. Un rato después llegaron los invitados que eligió personalmente: Dora Barrancos por su trayectoria en derechos de las mujeres y diversidades, Victoria Montenegro y Victoria Donda –que llegó con el pañuelo blanco de las Madres de Plaza de Mayo–, referentes del movimiento de derechos humanos e hijas de desaparecidos en la última dictadura cívico militar, la ministra Raquel “Kelly” Olmos y los dirigentes sindicales como Hugo Yasky, Héctor Daer y Sergio Palazzo. También, los jefes del bloque oficialista en el Congreso, Germán Martínez y José Mayans por Diputados y Senado, respectivamente, y la secretaria Legal y Técnica, Vilma Ibarra.
Minutos después, arribó Villarruel y de inmediato comenzó con declaraciones negacionistas, su marca personal. “Tengo una visión integral de los derechos humanos, no ando restringiéndolos y no creo que sea correcto restringirlos por ideología, por el sexo o por la religión”, dijo intentando una defensa de los genocidas. Cuando le preguntaron por el reconocimiento de la UNESCO a la exEsma como Patrimonio de la Humanidad, dijo: “Es un golpe de efecto de un gobierno que está en retirada”.
Entre el público estuvieron León Arslanian y Ricardo Gil Lavedra, ambos parte del tribunal que realizó el Juicio a las Juntas. Rossi los saludó durante el debate y también festejó el reconocimiento de Unesco a la ex Esma, mensajes directos a Villarruel. En el estudio no hubo saludos entre Rossi y Villarruel, a quién tampoco saludó Del Caño. Ni al comienzo ni al final del debate.
El papel de Del Caño y de Randazzo
El candidato de izquierda tuvo momentos picantes. Y también expresó su carta de identidad. Propuso un “aumento de emergencia para trabajadores y jubilados porque nadie puede cobrar menos que la canasta”, y cuestionó que el gobierno “ajuste mientras los grandes empresarios ganan. El FMI pide más devaluación. estos candidatos son sus cómplices y la izquierda no”, remarcó.
Randazzo quedó desdibujado. Al comienzo se quejó porque en el estudio hacía frío y Rossi dijo bromeando: “Alguien que le traiga una frazada a Florencio”. Luego dijo que en una encuesta que hizo un diario “muchos eligieron a Schiaretti”. “Si conocés lo que hizo en Córdoba lo votás, es el mejor candidato”, subrayó y sacó chapa: “Todo lo que estuvo bajo mi responsabilidad lo transformé como los documentos y los trenes”.
“Villarruel niega el cambio climático, la dictadura, el robo de bebés, la salud pública y la educación pública. Es trágico que a 40 años de democracia tengamos un partido negacionista”, finalizó Rossi. Una vez que se apagaron las cámaras, cada candidato se rodeó de sus invitados y asesores para la foto y las palmadas en la espalda.
