Causa Codesal: Luis Mazurier fue declarado culpable
Se leyó sentencia de la causa caratulada “Mazurier, Luis Alberto y otros s/peculado”.
En los tribunales de Concordia, los vocales Eduardo Degano e Ives Bastián realizaron el adelanto del veredicto en el marco de la causa que había sido iniciada hace 13 años.
Vale recordar que el Ministerio Público Fiscal, representado por el Dr. José Arias, había pedido una condena de 11 años para el director del Diario El Sol y ex presidente de la Corporación para el Desarrollo de Salto Grande (CODESAL).
El fiscal también había pedido una condena de 5 años para Alberto Jesús Villanueva y para Cintia del Rosario Mengeón, al considerarlos “partícipes necesarios” del delito de administración fraudulenta en perjuicio de la administración pública.
Mientras que, por su parte, la defensa de los imputados había solicitado la absolución de los implicados.
Ante esos planteos, este lunes se conoció el falló del tribunal conformado por los jueces Eduardo Degano, Edwin Ives Bastian y Pablo Garrera Allende, quienes establecieron que Luis Mazurier fuera condenado, en este fallo de primera instancia, a nueve años de prisión efectiva e inhabilitación perpetua.
Mientras que Alberto Jesús Villanueva fue condenado a 4 años de prisión efectiva e inhabilitación perpetua. Para el caso de Cintia Mengeon se definió una condena a 3 años de prisión condicional e inhabilitación perpetua para ejercer cargos públicos.
